Wiki

How do you think a wiki account would be useful to a teacher or school administrator? I feel that it can be used in many different ways by students, teachers, principals, other staff members, and the community. I was so excited to learn about this. Finally, there's a way to keep all the teachers on the same page. This would be great for an administrator to use before a faculty meeting. All the teachers could post an issue that they would like to be addressed during the meeting. I believe it would bring the staff together. The possibilities of using wiki in the classroom are endless. I'd love to hear the ideas you have.

  2. I like the parent newsletter idea as well..always keeping in touch with parents is a good thing, right!! Wiki in the communication area of a school in my opinion will benefit all involved.

  3. I love the idea of using it before a faculty meeting so that the the teachers can list any issues they would like to discuss.

  4. I think you could use it for TONS of functions in the classroom. You could keep a running classroom supplies list, party supplies, Book list of books students in your room etc....
