Wiki
How do you think a wiki account would be useful to a teacher or school administrator? I feel that it can be used in many different ways by students, teachers, principals, other staff members, and the community. I was so excited to learn about this. Finally, there's a way to keep all the teachers on the same page. This would be great for an administrator to use before a faculty meeting. All the teachers could post an issue that they would like to be addressed during the meeting. I believe it would bring the staff together. The possibilities of using wiki in the classroom are endless. I'd love to hear the ideas you have.

Sarah had suggested using them as a parent newsletter. I think this is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like the parent newsletter idea as well..always keeping in touch with parents is a good thing, right!! Wiki in the communication area of a school in my opinion will benefit all involved.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using it before a faculty meeting so that the the teachers can list any issues they would like to discuss.
ReplyDeleteI think you could use it for TONS of functions in the classroom. You could keep a running classroom supplies list, party supplies, Book list of books students in your room etc....
